Katharina was born in Germany, but she lives and works in Austria, when she is not around the world! Her career is dotted with successes, exhibitions, symposia and even a course in wood carving. Her work is both a practice of the limit and a reflection of the ambivalence of the latter. She acquired her technical background both working as a wood sculptor in Munich, and in her studies in painting and graphics at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. In addition to sculptural work, she also creates two-dimensional works, also using screen printing and photographic techniques. In 2020 she has been named Aiesm manager for Austria.
