Adriano Ciarla is an Italian artist, although he was born in Switzerland, in Lucerne, in 1970. However, his apprenticeship as a wood restorer and carver began in Avellino.
Always in Southern Italy, and more precisely in Naples, he perfected his skills in “ornament”, with the carver Mario Castaldi. His training process continues, as a free auditor, with attendance at courses at the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples.
Finally, specialization in sculpture takes place at the “Selva di Val Gardena” school in Alto Adige.
During his activity he took part in countless symposiums and fairs, both in Italy and abroad, as well as being the protagonist of several personal exhibitions. His skill in sculpture ranges from wood to marble, not to mention granite and limestone.
Adriano lives and works in Carrara.
